PROJECT OBJECTIVES

Netflix, the industries largest streaming service allows customers to watch a wide variety of award-winning TV shows, movies, documentaries, and more on thousands of Internet-connected devices.

Netflix engaged Triple2 Digital to create a unique, immersive, interactive experiential marketing attraction and experience to help promote a new show, “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”.

OUR SOLUTION

INTERACTIVE EXPERIENTIAL ATTRACTION (EXPERIENTIAL MARKETING) + MOBILE APP

The solution provided by Triple2 Digital was a completely immersive and interactive experience / attraction. The experience itself was a custom built movie set that resembled the actual television show’s iconic “Spellman House” and “Baxter High School”. Attendees would walk onto the set and instructed to begin walking down the “Baxter High School” hallway.

As the attendees walked down the hallway, over 25 different types of sensors, microcontrollers, software, and cameras would work in harmony to record the attendees in super slow-motion and trigger a number of real-world effects. Locker doors automatically blast open, wind machines came gusting at attendees, lights flickered, sound effects filled the set and smoke machines filled the area.

The end result was a unique, shareable, digital take away that spread virally on social media for the once in a lifetime experience. Attendees were able to go to “sharing stations” where they could locate their video, email or text it to themselves and then share the moment on social media. Ten’s of thousands of digital takeaway videos were created while the experiential attraction was live.

The interactive experience sold out well before the launch at each location and traveled to multiple locations worldwide.
